As evidenced by the image below, the widespread rain is pulling away and another line behind it in some parts of the area is associated with the cold front, bringing cooler and drier air behind it with a wind shift to mainly the north. Winds will turn gusty overnight, especially near the coast: 15-25 mph, gusts up to 35 mph. I don’t have much time to update, as I am helping Dracut Access TV record tonight’s Dracut High volleyball game, but for the remainder of the evening, expect tapering showers.
