Expect mostly sunny skies the rest of the way today and a high near 79; winds will remain calm. Tonight will be mostly clear early on, followed by likely fog; the low will be near 60, with a calm wind.
Any fog should burn up quicker tomorrow than it did today – the high will be near 84 and mostly sunny, along with a light southwest wind. Tomorrow night will be partly cloudy and 60, with fog possible and a light southwest wind.
Monday will be near 82 with increasing clouds, before the remnants of Tropical Storm Florence move into the area Tuesday morning. Rain is likely Tuesday as a result; a few inches of rain will be possible, though the exact amount will require refinement over the next few days. While it is possible that the storm will pass just to the north or south, the general forecast trend favors the system passing directly over us. Regardless, we won’t be seeing any rain remotely close to the scale that the Carolinas are experiencing right now due to Florence.
Conditions will rapidly improve on Wednesday as a stretch of seasonable early fall weather will take place toward the end of next week; Wednesday will be mostly sunny and 73.
Have a great rest of your day!
