After a showery last two days, dry weather will prevail, albeit with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 67, accompanied by a north wind around 5 mph. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and 51, along with a calm wind.
Tomorrow will be partly cloudy, with a slight chance of afternoon showers and a high near 78. Winds will be southwest at 5-10 mph. Tomorrow night will be mostly clear and 48, with a light southwest wind that will turn north early in the night.
The long weekend is going to be absolutely terrific, if a bit on the cool side for the first two days: sunny on Friday and Saturday with highs of 59 and 62 respectively, sandwiched by a clear and cool Friday night that will get down to around 40 – our coolest night in some time if the forecast holds. Sunday will be much warmer, with a high around 79 after a morning low of 53, and mostly sunny skies.
Going beyond the 5 day for a moment, Columbus Day will probably be in the upper 60s to low 70s as an impressive warm ridge for this time of year will make itself known (albeit disrupted by some cloudiness on the holiday). It’s not impossible that we could break 80 several times in the next week and a half, as an early preview pins next Tuesday and Wednesday as days that could end up being particularly warm.
Have a great day!
